We all know they don't make 'em like they used too. Take the 3 Stooges as an example. Here are three guys who were about as tough as they come. No modern day man could handle that sort of punishment. Two-by-fours to the back of the head, paint cans to the dome, noses caught in pairs of pliers... we all know these guys were hard. Curly, especially, was one tough son of a bitch.
We all know that a novella is a little novel. And we all know that salmonella is a little salmon. But do we know what a big version of mozzarella is? No clue. "Ten Thousand Lakes" sounds like a salad dressing, right? It's not. "Thousand Island" is the dressing. "Land-O-Lakes" sounds like butter, right? Actually, I think that is butter. But my larger point is that people in Minnesota need their butter and salad dressing. We all know that.
We all know what's funny--like that ventriloquist guy with the dummy named Peanut. One thing you may not know is that Joke Grenade, a web satire daily, will be launching sometime in February. What you may not also know is that there are videos, news stories and art galleries that are really well done. So check out jokegrenade.com. You may now know that I huffed a lot of paint as teenager. It's a good buzz. We all know that.
