Job Description: Photojournalist

You see them at news and sporting events.  You see them at Obama's press conferences.  But do you have what it takes to become one?  See if you can wear this many hats at once:
1).  Videographer- take pretty pictures with video and make it sing.

2). Video editor- arrange aforementioned shots into a coherent, understandable, and aesthetically pleasing form.
3).  Live Truck Operator- establish microwave uplink with station or entity.
4). Audio Engineer- make sure audio adheres to FCC rules and regulations.

5).  Producer- arrange story into a compelling order- with a beginning, middle, and end.
6).  Navigator- drive yourself and/or reporter to location of news or sporting event.
7).  Therapist- listening to your reporter or producer tell you about all their personal problems you don't care about but can't exactly stop listening to because you're stuck in the car with them for 3 more hours!

8). Pharmacist- always have extra Tylenol, Advil, Prozac, etc. or whatever your reporter, producer, or correspondent might be craving at any particular moment!

Tip: Posting high-quality videos for web

In this process of building up our videos for people to watch on www.jokegrenade.com,we have discovered several things.  In order for users to watch the video in a decent-sized window, you need to be sure the video file size is large enough to display common sizes, such as 640 x 480 or 720 x 480.  For example, if it's a .mov, make sure the template is at least 3 Mbps.  This will give you cd-rom quality video playback, with audio at 48k Hz sampling rate and 16-bit stereo PCM.  Happy rendering!
